Promising Antibacterial Activity of Simple Schiff Bases

Abstract: This review comprised the recently reported novel Schiff bases and their metal complexes which were found to have medicinal and biological activities in terms of antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-malarial, anti-proliferative, and anti-inflammatory and anti cancer activities. The structure activity relationship for the potential biological and medicinal activities of the Schiff bases was also discussed.
