Abstract:
Transpedicular fixation is a common technique used to treat thoracolumbar burst fracture. However, the biomechanical effects of different configurations of pedicle screws and rod are lacking. Biomechanical analyses of thoracolumbar spine (T11-L3) rigidly fixed with transpedicular screw and rod across multiple spine levels was performed using finite element technique.
