Abstract:
Is to evaluate cardiac and hepatic transfusional iron overload in a series of teenagers and young adults sicklers by using a relaxometric T2* technique. Material and Methods: The study was performed on 25 transfusion-dependent sickler patients (13 men and 12 women), with median age of 22 years.
