Abstract:
A 79-year-old man had a DDD permanent pacemaker inserted in September 2007 for symptomatic third-degree atrioventricular block. Over the following several years, he underwent repeated battery removal and reinsertion in a different site, due to recurrent subcutaneous pocket complications.
