Annals of Economics and Statistics, 1988, issue 12, 63-87
Abstract:
This paper develops a model which derives the temporal demand for a telephone line with congestion. Equilibrium obtains when the expected utility of placing a call during the peak and off-peak periods are equalized. We compute the temporal demand for various pricing policies. Direction for future research are finally commented on.
