Didier Janci

Annals of Economics and Statistics, 2012, issue 2012.HS1, 129-150

Abstract: In the current economic crisis, even more than usual, the long-term investors, who contribute to the mobilization of savings to finance the real economy, have a key role to play in assuming three functions (i), a function of financing long and risky investments, (ii), a function of stabilizing the markets, (iii), a function of long term monitoring of companies in which they invest if they practice shareholder engagement.
