The Ecologization Megatrend of World Economy and the response to it by Republic of Moldova in the context of European integration

Abstract: The article reflects the outcomes of the author's first phase of research on Ecologization which is conceptualized as a socio-economic megatrend as well as the megatrend of world economy. The author argues for the fact that Ecologization is not homogeneous megatrend but embraces many trends, some of them are even opposite by their character. In doing so, the author distinguishes several dimensions and various forms of the manifestation of the megatrend. The article also includes some results on the author's study on the response of the Republic of Moldova to Ecologization in the context of the state's European integration.
