Abstract: This study follows the development of the Bulgarian tourism, researches its problems and gives suggestion for improvement. The tourism in Bulgaria is one of the most developing branches during the past years. Despite of that, this research shows the existence of many problems. Mainly the problems are connected with the weak marketing and advertising national politics. The improvement of the tourist product and tourist services can be reached by segmentation of the tourist market, choice of suitable market segment and taking good position on the tourist market.
