Abstract:
E-commerce quickly becomes an instrument of strategic importance for companies. Choosing e-commerce supposes developing and deploying intercompanies architectures supported by the use of information technologies and communications (IT&C) and especially by the Internet technology in commercial transactions and also in evaluating the changes made within the company. Changes’` management is a condition for the success or failure of the e-commerce. Research in organizational changes brought by the e-commerce concern many themes, as: organizational impact using IT&C within companies (Venkatraman, 1991; Gilbert, 2001; Reix, 2002), numerical company: challenges and consequences for the new informational systems (Isaac, 2000), e-commerce and organizational changes (Mennis, 2003), understanding business models and strategies (Afuah 2003), strategic alignement and business performance (Bergeron & al. 2002). Our paper presents a general analysis framework of the impact for the e-commerce supported by the analysis of IT&C impact within companies. It could stimulate interesting ideas concerning the e-commerce impact and elaborating e-commerce model coherent with the specific of the companies
