Abstract: This paper presents the grid computing technology, the recent developments in this field. The idea of grid computing has its origins in the early development of computer networks and technologies involved, given that CPU cycle use "free" or "unused" was seen as an optimal and cost-effective way to use all capabilities of the hardware resources which were very expensive machinery.
