Abstract:
The paper reveals the concept of corporate governance, which states the official definitions of this topic, as well as a brief presentation of its evolution over time and also what it comprises today. This study practically tries to identify the impact of the company’s financial results on its corporate governance. We analyse the Russian airline company Aeroflot, whose data was extracted from the online interview with the Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors and also from the company’s consolidated financial statements and annual reports from 2011 and 2012 and the company’s website.
