Abstract: In recent years parallel and distributed systems have become increasingly attractive for applications with high computational demands such as simulation of complex systems from groups of companies. The main advantage of such systems is the ratio, rather than attractive, between the price and performance that can be achieved. In the present paper, authors describe some possibilities of parallel processing at the level of economic programs in groups of firms. The architecture, model and future development are shown below. This paper is an extended version of the paper presented at International Conference on Informatics in Economy (IE 2013), Bucharest, Romania
