Improving Business Intelligence Applications by Using New Generation of Web and Mobile Technologies

Abstract: The current paper presents an overview about the combination of the new technologies like: SAP HANA, SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori. There are presented the many advantages of which the final user can benefit, such as: fast performance when querying a request, data modelled with the last database innovation of SAP, SAP HANA database, which brings the biggest feature which is in-memory processing. This in-memory computing of SAP HANA enables people to focus on innovation. In the third section are described two examples of web and mobile applications developed with these technologies.
