Collaborative Platforms for Crowdsourcing and Consensus-based Decisions in Multi-Participant Environments

Cristian Ciurea () and Florin Gheorghe Filip ()

Informatica Economica, 2019, vol. 23, issue 2, 5-14

Abstract: The paper presents a new approach related to crowdsourcing and consensus in the multi-participant decision-making process. Multi-participant decision-making techniques, based on consensus building models frequently assume there are not really many decision makers in the group (appropriate operations can be done by complete enumeration). The consensus building and the crowdsourcing approach in the decision-making process are described. The most well-known top ten crowdsourcing platforms are analyzed and a comparison between them is made, in order to show existing and partially supported features
