Abstract:
This paper presents the recent developments in the emerging grid computing paradigm. A background to grid technologies that try to provide dependable, consistent, pervasive and inexpensive on demand access to computer resources is introduced. Also, research issues and challenges of grids systems are presented. Finally, distributed systems structures for online transactions based on economic models are proposed
