Abstract:
Climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience are essential to Africa’s development. Eyes have turned to the continent as Egypt prepares to host COP27 in November 2022. The message at COP27 must be clear; Africa is one of the least emissive and yet most ambitious and innovative regions. All countries must recommit to their climate obligations and unlock the climate finance so integral to Africa’s sustainable development.
