Abstract:
The socio-economic statistics is studying the social phenomena and processes ovr their continuous development, aiming to learn about the concrete way they are changing from one to another given stage. When proceeding to the actual analysis of the phenomena development over the time, the statistics is using as main instrument of research, the indicators obtained out of the processing and statistical adjustment of the chronological series, in order to get a knowledge on their evolution over the past periods and, on this basis, to issue predictions on their future evolution.
