Abstract:
The trade with agricultural products has a series of particularities that came from the agricultural products characteristics. Therefore, the agricultural products market has a physical characteristic. The main characteristic of agricultural products is that they are biological products. The agricultural products have a series of quantitative and qualitative characteristics and particularities that came from the economic environment and they have an impact over the trade. Sezonality, zonality, "lower economicity", the rigid production structure, and the harvest and manipulation problems are the most important quantitative characteristics. The most important qualitative characteristics are the quality of agricultural products is very hard quantifiable, perisability, fragility, the initial characteristics are modifiable in time and the biochemical process continues after the harvest. Other characteristics are the heterogenic agricultural producer's structure and the association between them is absent. The trade with agricultural products is completely different with other trades and the organization of agricultural products market is made in order to match with these characteristics.
