Abstract: This article emphasizes a series of aspects concerning the risk which the capital market implies and which is inducing the sensitivity of this one. The risk has an effect on the profitableness; therefore the correlation risk-profitableness is analysed under the circumstances, by specifying the aspects to be considered when making decisions. The article points out as well the fact that on the market, the aleatory evolution of the exchange rates is much more than an intuitive process so that it is compulsory to apply to the statistical and econometric methods and models of analysis and interpretation.
