Abstract:
Every economical field is subjected to different ways of eluding the reality. In technical words this fact is known as fraud. The specialists of the insurance market define Insurance fraud as intentional misrepresentation of material facts and circumstances to an insurance company to obtain payment that would not otherwise be made. During this research we will focus on the auto fraud in the Romanian insurance market. We will present practical situations noticed to a group of Romanian insurance companies and we will present our suggestions in order to avoid/to reduce the level of the fraud.
