Abstract:
The purposes of the given research are the analysis of four alternative methods of measurement of base inflation and a choice of the parameter most precisely reflecting an actual inflationary trend in the Republic of Moldova. The estimation of the fact sheet on inflation in the Republic of Moldova is made with application of the approach based on methods of the statistical analysis, in particular: exclusion method, trimmed means method, standard deviation trimmed means method, percentile method.
