Abstract:
This work intends, not having the aspiration to entirely embrace the subject, to scan the problems Romania is confronted with, in order to establish a pack of principles concerning the corporate governance. For the beginning it is shown that the role of European integration in stimulating the economical growth involves the convergence processes, some assessments being underlined. Further we are referring to the corporate governance’s historical concept. Finally is shown the way the Romanian legislation concerning companies intends on the 2005-2006 period to adopt the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) principles in order to shape and consolidate the business environment in Romania.
