Abstract: In the new context of adheration’s negotiations at the EU, the alignment at the EU environmental protection standards became an important priority and one of the greatest challenges of the adheration process. The process of alignment at the EU standards in the fields of environmental protection includes two parts: the legislative approximation and the institutional reform which need the development of an adequate institutional device, which should be able to apply and monitoring the acquis implementation. Even if Romanian has closed this chapter in the framework of adheration negotiations, the problems of the environmental management both at the national level and institutional level are very actually. The paper presents some aspects of the environmental management both from the point of view institutional and legislative, and from the point of view of the impact of the environmental protection over the business romanian’s environment.
