Abstract: Challenged by UE adhesion objective, Romania made significant steps in structural reform, inducing major changes in local business environment. According to last World Bank Report, titled Business in 2006, Romania is placed in top of reformers who act for business environment improvements, mainly due to its complex reforms involving simplifying business environment and fiscal system settlements. UE adhesion brings also new constraints that can be new hindrances for some less flexible companies but new opportunities for creative and adaptive others. Local companies surviving and development depends in large measure on their capacity to receive and reaction at dramatically changes and, of course, on other business environment subsystems engaged relations. Even if adopt a reactive or proactive behaviour, any company has to build its own interface with economical and social environment and also to develop specific business monitoring skills and self promotion tools.
