Abstract: Despite a good development support made up of highly trained, skilled and concerned human resources as well as of material resources that are not to be neglected, but taken into consideration, touristic activities in national economy systematically face a performance deficit, being unable to make up for the huge delays that separate them from similar international touristic activities of the most developed countries, even when they have high development levels or rates. This performance deficit has in view the real Romanian economy based on evolution breaks, temporary progress, being incapable to provide a significant and overall or at least substance improvement of the situation as compared to the European group of the most developed or touristic profile countries (Greece, Portugal, Spain).
