Abstract:
In view of the integration in the European Union, Romanian companies have to prove their capacity to define and render profitable the differentiating advantages they possess. Facing their own potential to the dynamics of their activity and to the market’s demands, the companies can identify and classify the differentiating resources that they might subsequently use as primary resources for their strategies. We believe that to be able to choose the optimum mix of the differentiating resources, we should determine their competitive efficiency first. Such an approach involves taking the following steps: analysing the competitive intensity level on each segment of the target-market; establishing the score/ value matching the competitive efficiency of each differentiating resource; choosing the optimum mix of the differentiating resources.
