Abstract:
Writing this article, the author proposes to make a brief presentation of the categories of indicators which determine the economic efficiency of the activity developed by the insurance companies from Romania and European Union. In the analyze of the activity efficiency of an insurance company it is followed the application of the same evaluation principles of the performance of each company. The application of the indicators is used to establish the most profitable report between the cashed premiums and the paid claims.
