Abstract:
The reformation of the pension system in Romania is based on multiple problems which should be faced. Since the 1990 changes have been made as to integrate other assurance systems categories into the state’s assurance system. The present project deals some of the consequences of these legislative struggle, where the impact of the economical context in the last 16 years is reflected upon the pensioners and on their incomes. All these bring about some theories concerning the Romanian pension system’s evolution.
