Abstract:
The current financial and economic crisis has led to imbalances in the labour market, imbalances manifested worse in some economies. The paper aims to analyse the causes of these imbalances, especially the case of Spain, the country with the highest level of unemployment in the European Union. Thus, the characteristics of the labour market in Spain will be highlighted in order to identify the factors responsible for the worsening of the crisis.
