Abstract: The paper is aimed at investigating the negative consequences that the globalization generates for both the developing and the developed countries in the social field. The sharpening of inequality within the most exposed developed economies and also at within the emergent countries has caused the polarization toward the margins of income distribution. The paper finds that the power systems, the power relationships and the fiscal system could be responsible for the actual income distribution in society. The empowerment of poor is the only solution to re-establish the social equilibrium in the world.
