Abstract: The requirements of the Occupational Health and Security Management System are specified in the ISO 18001:2007 (OHSAS 18001:2007 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System), standard which also offers us the measures necessary for the control of the risks present in the field of work health and safety, as well as for the improvement of the performances in this field. In this paper we will present some of the particularities of OHSAS 18001:2007, standard which has been elaborated while keeping in mind the compatibility with the ISO 9001:2000, respectively ISO 14001:2004 standards, in order to meet those who want to implement an integrated quality – environment – occupational health and safety management system at the level of the organizations where they carry out their activity. Thus, we studied mainly the standards mentioned above, as well as other materials elaborated by different organizations/specialists in the field of accreditation and certification of the Quality Management Systems, respectively Environment Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management in conformity with the specifications of the documents elaborated at an international level and/or in our country.
