Abstract:
This study investigates the main challenges of incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Higher Education landscape through a systematic literature review. Additionally, this research contributes to ongoing discussions on AI’s role in higher education with the purpose of offering practical recommendations to ensure that AI enhances learning and administrative processes rather than creating additional challenges. Thus, our research identifies key issues related to adopting AIdriven tools in academia, such as data privacy, ethical concerns, faculty resistance, and technological accessibility. These findings provide universities valuable insights mandatory to be adopted for responsible AI implementation while also balancing innovation and ethical considerations.
