Abstract:
Because of reduced agricultural lending by the Farmers Home Administration, Farm Credit Services and insurance companies, banks are becoming more innovative in their long-term lending strategies. One development which would be beneficial would be the creation of a secondary market for agricultural loans similar to the secondary mortgage market facilitated by FNMA.
