Above all else: referrals
Jack Tower
American Bankers Association, 1993, vol. 06, issue 4
Abstract:
To get agrilending referrals, a bank should: 1) cultivate good relationships with customers through knowledgeable employees, a willingness to work through customers' problems, and specialized services; 2) get involved in community activities; 3) ask customers for referrals when thanking them for their business; and 4) develop relationships with the business community--lawyers, accountants, and real estate brokers--to spur referrals.
