High performance agricultural banking requires high performance in each of the following areas: 1. allocating assets, 2. managing risk, 3. reducing costs, 4. sourcing funds, 5. maintaining or growing market share, 6. pricing loans, 7. positioning products, 8. servicing customers, and 9. developing alliances.
