Strategic alliances in agriculture
Philip Burns
American Bankers Association, 1997, vol. 10, issue 3
Abstract:
All over the US, country banks are merging and forming new alliances. Among the things that may drive some of the changes in the future of agriculture and the future of ag banking and farm management are: 1. The pace of technological change will increase, not decrease. 2. Technology will finally make it possible for farmers and ranchers to understand futures and options - and other risk management and marketing techniques.
