AARCC-the ugly truth revealed (December 1999)
American Bankers Association
American Bankers Association, 2000, vol. 13, issue 2
Abstract:
Farm Credit Watch has reported on CoBank's attempt to broaden its reach by assuming the venture capital investment powers currently held by the Alternative Agricultural Research and Commercialization Corp. (AARCC) At best, CoBank's pursuit of AARCC's powers reflects a naivete about venture capital investing. At worst, it represents a cynical grab for additional powers under the guise of doing good for agriculture and rural America.
