Robert Fouberg
American Bankers Association, 2001, vol. 14, issue 3
Abstract:
Both houses of Congress have passed comprehensive bankruptcy reform legislation (S 420), the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 2001 and HR 333, the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2001. Despite the current lapse of Chapter 12 authority, both the House and Senate versions of comprehensive bankruptcy reform legislation contain permanent and retroactive renewals of authority effective July 1, 2000.
