Abstract:
Farm banks are well positioned going into the 21st century as delinquencies, foreclosures, loan restructuring, and net loan charge-offs remain at near historically low levels. According to surveys conducted by the US Department of Agriculture, farm banks are concerned about the effects of continuing low commodity prices but do not believe this will lead to lower levels of agricultural lending.
