Abstract:
Consideration of the successor to the Federal Agricultural Improvement and Reform Act is dominating the schedule in both the House and Senate Agriculture Committees. While the ABA has offered a number of specific suggestions for the bill that were generated from a 14-state listening tour, they stressed that what bankers want most in terms of federal agricultural policy is consistency and predictability.
