Abstract:
A summary of a recent ABA Agricultural and Rural Bankers Committee roundtable discussion on customer profitability is presented. In general, the bankers believe that production agriculture has become more challenging. Today, the biggest opportunities in agriculture are production and cost controls because there is very little upside potential with regard to prices.
