DIE LANDBOUSKULDLASPROBLEEM EN VOORTGESETTE FINANSIERING VAN DIE LANDBOU

C. W. Mostert

Agrekon, 1992, vol. 31, issue 4

Abstract: The implications of the current commercial agricultural debt problem and declining creditworthiness causes doubt about the continued financing of this sector. By positioning both the commercial and developing agricultural sectors in such a manner that it can prove to it's (potential) financiers that it poses acceptable business risks, financiers will probably continue to be involved. Several internal as well as external factors are currently influencing the agricultural sector and is the outcome of these factors of particular significance. This requires strong strategic inputs by all parties concerned.
