A survey on weights and land measurement unit used in Bangladesh

Abstract: A wide variety of local weight and land measurement units in Bangladesh. These are considered a major problem in registering land records and in pricing and marketing agricultural commodities. This study reports the findings of a countrywide sample survey to highlight the characteristics of the units and their implications.
