MARINE FISH MARKETING IN BANGLADESH

Abstract:
This note examines fresh marine fish marketing system in Bangladesh with a view to assessing marketing performance by analysing marketing margins derived by various intermediaries, seasonal price variations and availability of physical marketing facilities. Data from two major marine fish markets, Chittagog and Gaox’s Bazar, have been used.
