Essai d'analyse des concours de l'Etat à l'agriculture
J.-B. Chombart de Lauwe
Économie rurale, 1972, vol. 91
Abstract:
The analysis of state aid to agriculture, which has considerably increased over the past 10 years, leads us to ask three questions. 1 - For what is this aid used ? The aid can be classified according to six different agricultural politics as : the adaptation of supply to demand, productivity, mobility, structures, social and regional politics. 2 - Who benefits from it ? The farmers benefit directly from only 59 to 75 per cent of it. 3 - Is the distribution of this aid satisfactory ? This difficult and, as yet, little studied field deserves more detailed research.
