Concepts, sources d'information et mode de calcul actuel du revenu de l'agriculture

Claude Wagner

Économie rurale, 1972, vol. 93

Abstract: Concepts, sources of information and latest appreciating ways of agricultural income - Generally speaking, the farm income indicator is the gross output of farming, so to say the balance of farm account settled in agricultural branch. Branch production — including every produced agricultural product as such from any produced — is not to be confounded with sector production that is agricultural farm production. The accounts are settled every natural year (and not every campaign). The year output measured out by the harvest is to be either commercialized before december the 31st or stocked. «Intraconsumptions » (re-used products in the very same branch) are not included in production. Every year, the results of the previous year are settled down in production accounts and farm accounts. Periodically, the basis is revised and all the items are re-valued. Most of basic statistics are provided by the Ministry of Agriculture.
