Abstract: Two important notes have been circulated concerning the preparation of the 7th Plan, one from the Direction of the IAA (Industries Agricoles et Alimentaires), the other from the CACEPA. They give interesting information about the problem of the financing of the IAA in France and about the difficulties French industry will encounter in the next few years. Possibilities of profits seem restricted (the consumer price freeze, distribution, technological limits and foreign competition).
