Doryane Kermel-Torrès, Michel Bruneau and Pierre-Jean Roca

Économie rurale, 1991, vol. 202-203

Abstract: Analyzing the status and the role of agriculture in three countries, rural areas control of the three main actors, peasantry, entreprises and State, has been studied through some key phenomenas such as land availability, role of the infrastructures, intensification and diversification or credit and marketing of the production. The true challenges of the agricultural changes have been more accurately defined such as the pressure on the agro- ecological environment or the increasing socio-spatial unequalities.
