Décollectivisation et colonat public

Abstract:
In eastern countries, the privatisation policy is often viewed as a step toward a western like family farm system. However, one may imagine a radically different path for the actual evolution, which would lead to a system of latifundia, similar in many respect to the regime encountered in Italy at the end of the roman empire. This is a consequence of the fact that former leaders of state collective farms are still powerful!, whereas the conditions under which farms are privatized preclude the possibility for them to become viable family farms.
