Abstract:
In this paper, we show how the neo-classical farm-household model can be used for analysing labour decisions of agricultural households. The paper focuses on off-farm work participation decisions of the wife and shows how the CAP reform (price cuts, set-aside and compensatory payments) will modify the probability of participation of the wife to the off-farm work market.
